About Royal Oak

Royal Oak may be the "best kept golf secret" in Florida.  The Club is located in the town of Titusville, near Kennedy Space Center and a 45 minute drive east of the Orlando Airport.  The course was designed by Dick Wilson, renowned golf course architect of Doral and Bay Hill in Florida, and many others throughout North America and overseas.  The course was completed in 1963, together with a beautiful spacious clubhouse, which includes a large dining room, banquet facilities, conference room, lounge, snack bar, and golf shop.  A lodge with forty spacious rooms was also built adjacent to the clubhouse, along with a beautiful olympic sized swimming pool and convenient poolhouse.

After being owned for many years by the Canadian Professional Golfers Association and then Titus Golf (a group of golf professionals), the club passed into new hands on May 13, 2005.  The club is owned and operated by Charles R. Skillington and family, along with Don Haynes.  Many improvements are planned, both large and small, with some exciting construction plans on the drawing boards.  The intention is to operate a first class, full service resort and premier golf course and restore Royal Oak to the grandeur of its early years.
